City Man Leads Officers On Foot Pursuit After Shoplifting; Man Gives Police False Name

JAMESTOWN-A city man led officers on a foot pursuit after he shoplifted from the 7-Eleven Convenience Store at 518 N. Main St. according to the Jamestown Police Department.

Tyler T. Manelick, 20, was reportedly observed walking east on E. 6th St. by a State Police Patrol. Manelick ran from the troopers when ordered to stop walking per JPD.

Manelick was reportedly stopped at the corner of W. 5th St. and Lafayette St. The man allegedly gave police a false name after they transported him to City Jail.

Manelick was charged with 2nd degree Obstructing Governmental Administration, False Impersonation and Petit Larceny.
