Raymour & Flanigan Truck Rolls Over Near Frewsburg

FREWSBURG-A Raymour & Flanigan truck rolled over Friday afternoon near the intersection of Falconer-Frewsburg and Carlberg Rds. according to the New York State Police.

The driver, Daniel F. Shanley, Jr., 21, Lackawanna, reportedly became drowsy and fell asleep. The truck left the roadway off the west shoulder, overturning in an embankment after briefly traveling a short distance off the roadway per authorities.

Shanley and passenger, Christopher D. Giesler, 29, were both treated for minor abrasions and released at the scene. Representatives from the company reportedly picked up the duo.

  1. That’s almost too funny!
    Two guys driving a daily route and the driver “became drowsy and fell asleep”.
    What was the guy in the jump seat doing? Where was he?

    I hope the DOT and OSHA really look into this one. Raymour & Flanigan are obviously overtaxing their hourly workforce.
