WATCH! Bonnies Buzzer Beater Powers Them Past Vermont, 81-79

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) Matt Mobley made just one basket on Saturday, a contested 3-pointer at the buzzer to lift St. Bonaventure over Vermont 81-79.

Trae Bell-Haynes missed a layup but Payton Henson scored on the put-back to give Vermont a 79-78 lead with five seconds to play. Mobley hit the 3 from the right of the arc and it rimmed in for the game-winner.

Jaylen Adams scored 17 points and had five assists to lead St. Bonaventure (8-2), which has won five straight.

 The game featured 12 lead changes and eight ties.

Up Next: St. Bonaventure returns home to play Northeastern on Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the Reilly Center. Game time is 7 p.m.
