JAMESTOWN – Police say two men are facing drug trafficking charges after allegedly seizing nearly three ounces of methamphetamine, seven bags of heroin, a digital scale, marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash during a traffic stop on Friday night.
According to a media release, a Jamestown Police K9 Unit witnessed a vehicle turning in the area of Foote Ave and Allen St., failing to signal at least 100 feet ahead of time for a turn.
Police say the driver, identified as 49-year-old Henry Myers, was operating the vehicle without a license.
Police allege they found meth and a digital scale on Myers.
Authorities also allege that more drugs, including heroin and $2,000 in cash, were discovered inside the vehicle.
Jeffrey Myers, the passenger in the vehicle, was charged with two counts of drug possession.
Both men are being held in city jail and will be arraigned soon.
