Bicyclist Arrested After Reportedly Throwing Object Into Moving Vehicle

JAMESTOWN – Police charged a 44-year-old man with throwing an object into a moving vehicle causing injuries to a woman’s face Friday morning. 

Shortly after 11:00, police said they were called to 249 Crescent St. for a report of an assault.

When they arrived, authorities gathered information from the victim and then located a person matching a description that they were given.



Jessie Jones was charged with second degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Jones was transported to city jail where he was arraigned and committed to county jail.
