Police Asking For Public’s Help In Tuesday Evening Shooting

JAMESTOWN – City police are asking for the public’s assistance following a shooting on Bowen Street Tuesday night.

Investigators said they are following up on multiple leads, but are continuing to ask for anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to contact them at 483-7537, the anonymous tip line at 483-8477 or the tip411 app.

Police were called to the area of 47 Bowen Street Tuesday night for a report of a disturbance.



They found a man shot in the leg when they arrived.

The man was transported to UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
