Back In Check; Feeling More Like The Season, Before July-Like Air Comes For The Weekend

Quick Solutions 7 Day Forecast

JAMESTOWN – We’ll be in a fairly routine weather pattern over the next week or so, with with some room for some warming, as we head towards the weekend.

High pressure over the region is acting as a wall, keeping a front with some rain well down to our south, and that will keep us nice and dry for much of the week.

We will get a better chance for some rain come Tuesday night and Wednesday, with maybe a few embedded thunderstorms for the afternoon on Wednesday. However, that rain does not look to be significant.

As we look towards the weekend, the heat builds back into the 80s, and looking out in the long range, that July-like heat and humidity looks like it will continue into next week.

As I’ve mentioned last week, some areas around Western New York need some beneficial rainfall. Some parts of region are ruining over 1 inch below normal rainfall for the month. While that’s not too bad, if we do not get some substantial rain over the next few weeks, we will have to start talking about the potential for some drought issues setting up, and there’s no solution here over the next seven or ten days.
