Police Seize Loaded Gun, Meth, Counterfeit Money In Traffic Stop, Two Arrested

JAMESTOWN – City Police reportedly seized a loaded and defaced pistol (serial number removed), methamphetamine, and a quantity of fake $100 bills with Chinese markings during a traffic stop on Strong Street at Fulton Street Thursday.

The driver, Daniel R. McKay, 24, of Jamestown, was charged with second and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon as well as multiple traffic violations. McKay, a currently NYS parole, also reportedly had a suspended license. He is now facing charges for a parole violation.

Kaylyn N. Barlow, 22, of Jamestown, allegedly possessed 3.9 grams of methamphetamine and less than one gram of heroin. She was charged with second and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.



Both were taken to city jail pending arraignment. Additional charges are expected as the investigation is ongoing.

  1. She has son with convicted heroin dealer Ceasar Soto. That poor kid is in for a long life of repeating what his parents are if someone doesn’t intervene to provide that little kid with a promising future. This isn’t going to go well for Kaylyn Barlow.
