A Dry Friday Ahead Of Another Chance For Flakes Over The Weekend

Quick Solutions 7 Day Forecast

JAMESTOWN – We’re coming off the first official snowfall of the season and a little more of that could be on the way.

The freezing temperatures and snow-coating across the region this morning has officially ended the growing season across the Southern Tier.

Temps will warm back up to around average on Friday with plentiful sunshine. If you’ve got any outdoor activities to tend to, Friday will be the day to do it.

A Cold front will move through late Saturday through Sunday. The front will not only drop temps back into the 40s, but will also re-introduce the chance for some light accumulating snow Saturday night and early Sunday morning.

As was the case yesterday, the best chance for accumulation will be along the higher hills of the Southern Tier with about a light coating possible there.

Temps remain in the 40s for the upcoming week with a chance for rain showers both Tuesday and Wednesday.
