Buffalo Man Discards Stolen Weapon During Foot Pursuit



JAMESTOWN-A Buffalo man is in city jail after he discarded a stolen weapon during a foot pursuit on Crescent St. Thursday afternoon according to Jamestown Police. 

Kori D. Robinson, 19, reportedly fled on foot after a JPD Patrol Vehicle executed a traffic stop. Officers located a loaded 9mm handgun discarded by Robinson during the chase according to police.

Investigation revealed the weapon was reported stolen from an October burglary in the city.



Robinson currently awaits arraignment on charges of 2nd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, 4th degree Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Obstructing Governmental Administration and several vehicle/traffic violations.
