Rain Turns To Snow Tonight; Lake Effect Snow Watch Until Friday

UPDATE AT 3:00 PM TUESDAY-The Lake Effect Snow Watch was updated to a Lake Effect Snow Warning in effect until Friday. 

JAMESTOWN-Most of Chautauqua County can expect a new layer of snow starting Wednesday, according to National Weather Service Meteorologist Tony Ansuini.

Heaver amounts of snow fall is expected for areas in the Chautauqua Ridge with totals ranging from six-to twelve inches. Ansuini also predicts the possibility of blowing snow with winds increasing up to 45 MPH Wednesday night.
