Sherman Man Arrested For Possessing Illegal Firearm During Traffic Stop

CHAUTAUQUA-A Sherman man was arrested Wednesday for possessing an illegal firearm during a traffic stop on Rt. 394 according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office. 

Anthony J. Crouch, 34, Park St., Sherman, reportedly possessed an unregistered pistol, an illegal gravity knife and a small amount of marijuana. Crouch also allegedly drove with a suspended license.

Crouch faces charges of Criminal Possession of a Firearm, 3rd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, 3rd degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operation and No Inspection. He was committed to County Jail on $10,000 cash/$20,000 property bond after being arraigned.
