Crews Battle Major Falconer Fire

UPDATE: As of noontime, no injuries were reported per Mayor James Rensel. Fifteen people were displaced due to the fire. The Red Cross is on scene to help.

Investigators are on scene to begin their investigation, which Rensel said it could take “days or weeks.” Rensel said he could be asking for aid from both the county and state.

Businesses along the front reportedly have extensive fire damage. Rensel said the buildings could be demolished once the structure is rendered safe for residents and employees. Demolition is also contingent upon assessed value from various insurance companies.
