JAMESTOWN-Artwork from four Jamestown High School students was recently selected to be part of the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts Juried High School Art Show at St. Bonaventure University per JPS Communications Coordinator Cathy Panebianco.
Students Elise Blomquist, Grace Osborne, Emily Walsh and Sierra Fish were among 300 entries according to Panebianco.
“It is a great honor to have our student’s artwork selected by a university with an accredited art program, from over 300 works of art sent in by schools across Chautauqua and Cattaraugus counties,” JHS Art Teacher Brandy Fuller said. “It is a wonderful opportunity for our students to get their work viewed beyond our community, and for them to be acknowledged of their talent and skill by other art professionals.”
A panel of judges reportedly evaluated the student’s artwork, which was created this school year during JCC Drawing and Studio in Art classes at JHS.
