FREDONIA-Local law enforcement wants party goers to know they’ll be watching this weekend during the unofficial “Fred Fest” throughout the village.

Police Chief Bradley Meyers told WNYNewsNow Wednesday his officers are equipped with body cameras to document “events” as they occur. Meyers said these events could end up online.

A judge will hold court throughout the evenings and early mornings to handle the anticipated arrests. Those unable to post bail may be remained to county lockup.

Meyers reminded those attending social events in the village to simply obey the law. The chief said it’d be “unfortunate for future employers to see your arrest on social media.”
