Police Raid Meth House, Locate Young Children Inside

JAMESTOWN-Members of the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force busted down the door at 510 W. 6th St. early Wednesday morning discovering a quantity of crystal methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia. 

In a release to regional media investigators said they located two small children ages 3 and 10 living in the apartment in addition to the illegal drugs.

James C. Blue, 27, Lakeia R. Boyd, 31, and Sheldon M. Harper, 23, faced charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal using of drug paraphernalia.

The children’s alleged mother Lakeia Boyd was additionally charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
