Sheriff Pleads With Using Community; Deadly Heroin Blamed For Two Deaths

MAYVILLE-Two people recently died as the result of deadly heroin circulating in Northern Chautauqua County according to Sheriff Joseph Gerace during a Facebook Live Monday afternoon.

The county has recently seen a spike in overdoses. At least 11 overdoses have been reported within the last two weeks, with several people reportedly coming to within seconds of losing their lives per a medical source.

Police said they believe the killer heroin described in Monday’s release is being sold in checkered bags.

“We just want to get the word out before others lose their lives,” said Gerace.

Gerace said the investigation into who’s selling the lethal dope will continue.

  1. If you are too stupid to stay alive, there is just not much other people can do to to help you stay alive. Heroin users have to be among the stupidest people on the planet.
