Children Reportedly Left Unattended Near Busy Street



JAMESTOWN-A Jamestown duo was arrested after police witnessed two children left alone in the front yard during a house check of 198 Fairmount Ave. Wednesday per City Police.  

Cynthia M. Messere, 22, was allegedly seen returning home shortly after. Messere allegedly attempted to leave the scene with her children when police sought to question her.

Messere was charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and 2nd degree Obstructing Governmental Administration.



Corey J. Keeler, 26, was also reportedly located sleeping inside a back bedroom. Keeler reportedly had outstanding warrants and is currently on probation. He was additionally charged with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

  1. They need to come up on my street …there’s a 2 year old &a5year old …All ways running back&forth in the street . No one watching them…
