Cuomo Announces Results of “Speed Week”



ALBANY-State Police’s “Speed Week” campaign resulted in more than 21,000 issued tickets between June 7th and 13th according to Governor Andrew Cuomo.

Cuomo said 9,400 drivers were ticketed for speeding. The Governor also said 268 were arrested for DWI and 315 personal injury accidents were investigated.

More than 3,000 plus tickets were reportedly issued on the State Thruway, and around 2,000 tickets were issued in Western New York.
