Distracted Driving Apparent Cause Of Frewsburg Crash

UPDATE 3:20 PM-A Jamestown woman faces charges after distracted driving caused her vehicle to exit the roadway and overturn Tuesday afternoon on Falconer-Frewsburg Rd per the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies told WNYNewsNow Brittany Smith, 23, and her 3-year-old daughter were transported to WCA hospital for non life threatening injures after the accident.

Smith’s license was also allegedly suspended.

FREWSBURG-A vehicle rolled over Tuesday afternoon on Falconer-Frewsburg Rd. near the hamlet.

Frewsburg’s Volunteer Fire Department told WNYNewsNow’s Justin Gould two people, a mother and child, were transported to a local hospital with “minor” injuries.

Sheriffs deputies are currently on scene.
