Man Jailed In Pomfret Burglary

POMFRET-A man was arrested Friday morning for burglarizing a Chautauqua Rd. residence two days prior according to the County Sheriff’s Office. 

James C. Hanson, 32, reportedly entered the residence without permission and was later observed running into a nearby wooded area. Authorities then searched the woods without results.

A warrant charging Hanson with 2nd degree Burglary was issued. Police reportedly picked Hanson up after receiving information regarding his location Friday.



Hanson was remanded to county jail on $20,000 cash/$40,000 property.
