Parollee Leads Deputies On Vehicle Pursuit

CHAUTAUQUA-A Mayville parollee led deputies on a vehicle chase Friday morning on Beaujean Rd. according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael S. Hannold, 41, was reportedly spotted driving while wanted for two separate charges including a parole violation. Hannold allegedly sped away, reaching nearly 100 MPH, before pulling into a driveway. He was reportedly arrested after a short foot pursuit.

Hannold was remanded without bail to County Jail on charges of 3rd degree Unlawfully Fleeing Police Officer in Motor Vehicle, Reckless Driving, 2nd degree Aggravated Unlicensed Operator and Speed Over 55 MPH.

A check of the State’s Department of Corrections website revealed Hannold has served two separate prison stints, one for 2nd degree Attempted Robbery and another for two charges of DWI Alcohol/Drugs (One for second offense, another for third offense).
