Jamestown Man Caught With Heroin, Loaded Handgun


JAMESTOWN-A city man was arrested by the Metro Drug Task Force Friday morning at 10 Peterson St. with heroin, a loaded .40-caliber handgun, hydrocodone pills, suboxone and clonazepam according to Jamestown Police.

Shanis K. Garcia, 30, was charged with 2nd degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon, one count each of 3rd and 5th  degree Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and two counts in the seventh degree, as well as a charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.






Garcia was transported to city jail.



State Police’s CNET Team assisted in the bust.
