Man Charged With Violating Court Domestic Order

JAMESTOWN-Following a South Main Street traffic stop Sunday afternoon, Jamestown Police charged Louis M. Torres Cortes with allegedly violating a protection order from family court.

Police charged Cortes with First-Degree Criminal Contempt for prior conviction and Aggravated Family Offense. Cortes was being held in the city jail pending arraignment. Second-Platoon officers stopped the vehicle on a separate incident and identified Cortes.
