“8 PM update to the Severe Weather Outlook from the Storm Prediction Center removes Chautauqua County out of the standard “Slight” risk, replacing it with a less-than-average “Marginal” risk for the western Southern Tier Region through the reminder of the night. The threat is diminishing, as expected, as we’re losing the little heat that was generated during the daytime. Weather Service continues the Areal Flood Warning for all of Western NY, excluding Allegany County, until 4:45 PM Monday, for the risk of flooding from excessive runoff from rivers and creeks.”
