Jamestown Police Respond To Reported Stabbing On Lafayette Street

JAMESTOWN – A male victim was stabbed in the head at the apartment building next to Center Ice Laundromat on Lafayette Street Wednesday night, according to emergency personnel on scene. 

The call came in shortly before 8:30, according to County Dispatch.

Alstar EMS sped away from the scene with the victim in the vehicle, followed shortly thereafter by members the Jamestown Police Department. The victim had a bandage wrapped around their head.

As of now, there’s no word as to the age or name of the victim.

The investigation appears to be ongoing as some patrol cars remained at the scene. During the investigation, officers were observed circling the property.
