City Man Jailed After Stabbing Incident

JAMESTOWN – Lonnie L. Fields, 65, of Jamestown was charged with second-degree assault following a stabbing incident at 9:30 a.m., Monday at 35 W. 12th St., according to Jamestown Police.

Police responded to UPMC Chautauqua WCA Hospital for investigation into a reported stabbing. Police determined the woman had been stabbed by a kitchen knife during a domestic incident.

Fields was charged and transported to the city jail. He was arraigned and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.
