Chuck Schumer Re-Elected As Minority Leader

WASHINGTON – As new faces join Congress, some leadership positions remain the same.

New York State Senator Chuck Schumer will continue to hold the position of Senate Minority Leader.

According sources on Capital Hill, the Democrat was re-elected Wednesday Morning by acclamation during the party’s caucus meeting.

Meanwhile, Senate Republicans voted to keep Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in his position.
