Jamestown Man Arrested After Police Discover Meth During Traffic Stop

JAMESTOWN – A 28-year-old Jamestown man is facing charges after police said they found a small quantity of methamphetamine during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning.

City of Jamestown Police said that Matthew Goon was observed failing to signal for a turn at the intersection of Myers and Barrett Avenues just after 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Police said after speaking with Goon they allegedly discovered the meth.





Goon was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, and traffic infractions. He was taken to city jail to await arraignment.
