Mainly Dry And Warmer Today, Decent Weekend Ahead

JAMESTOWN – This past week has seen some cool and rainy weather, but Spring and Summer like weather looks to be on the horizon as we progress through the week and into the weekend!

The sun is out for now, however as the afternoon progresses into the evening, clouds will increase as a cold front approaches. Temperatures this afternoon will be in the low to mid 60’s. Temperatures will drop into the upper 40’s to low 50’s overnight with a few rain showers around.

Another warm front will move into the region Thursday, finally bringing with it some warm summer like heat and a decent looking weekend! Thursday will be mostly cloudy with temperatures in the low 60’s. Friday will see a higher chance of rain as temperatures climb into the mid to upper 60’s

If you are looking for some nice spring weather, look no further then the weekend! Both days look good, with about a 35% chance of rain each day. Upper 60’s to low 70’s on Saturday and mid 70’s by Sunday!

Saturday looks good for some outdoor work or if you are going to Stateline speedway for “6 Pak Racing” featuring the Bill Law Memorial late models. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 50’s overnight.

The second half of the weekend and the outlook for next week is still in question as some models are spiking us into the 80’s while some are keeping us down into the 50’s and 60’s. While we’re shooting this straight in the middle, keep in mind that none of this is set in stone. This is subject to change as we get new data.
