SOUTH VALLEY – A road in Cattaraugus County washed away Thursday following heavy rainfall.
Chautauqua Weather Today, and WNYNewsNow contributor, Shawn Sweatman shot video of flood water rushing though Burch Drive off of Saw Mill Run Road.
Sweatman said two, four-foot culverts under the road washed away. He said there is not much left of the roadway and it is currently closed to traffic.
WNYNewsNow has reached out to the Cattaraugus County Office of Emergency Services for more information. We are awaiting their call back.
