Celoron Pair Charged With Five Counts Of Endangering The Welfare Of A Child

CELORON – A pair of Celoron residents were charged with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child, according to Town of Ellicott Police.

Police said they responded to a welfare check July 5 at 10 Venice St.

Officers reported they entered the home and found the residence to be in “deplorable conditions and that the children, ranging in ages from three to 11, were left to take care of themselves” while the pair slept.





Andrew S. Kiendl, 31, and Nicole S. Blake, 25, were charged with five counts of endangerment of the welfare of a child. Police said Kiendl also had a parole warrant and was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Both suspects were remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail for arraignment.
