Investigators Seize Meth, Fentanyl, Other Drugs During Sweep

CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY – A month-long drug investigation that spanned both Chautauqua and Cattaraugus Counties led to the arrest of several people and the seizure of a number of drugs.

Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force said on Tuesday the department, along with several other law enforcement agencies, raided a house on Route 62 in Conewango Valley and a house on Third Avenue in the Town of Ellicott.

Deputies said, in total, they seized around 5.5 ounces of methamphetamine, 6.3 ounces of hallucinogenic psilocybin mushrooms, a quantity of fentanyl, MDMA, also known as molly, ecstasy and various drug paraphernalia.


In total, eight people were charged in the operation.

Cory A. Carlson, 28, Michael L. Cent, 30, Stephanie R. Agrifolio, 34, Robert G. Clark, 33, Charlotte A. Schuver, 31, Holly R. Berenguer, 37, Elizabeth Singer, 30 and Taylor Hernandez, 25, are charged with two felony counts of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Carlson was additionally arrested as a fugitive from justice from an outstanding warrant in Pennsylvania.



Also charged, William C. Sisson, 63, who was located at the Third Avenue house. Police charged Sisson with second-degree criminal nuisance. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Members of Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, Jamestown Police Metro Drug Task Force and the Town of Ellicott Police Department assisted in the case.
