JAMESTOWN – This week’s weather will be picture perfect with several days of sunshine and warmer than average temperatures.
With a north to Northwest wind through the day, the cloud cover will be stubborn to clear out. We’ll call today partly sunny on average with a small chance, about 30 percent, of spotty shower away from Lake Erie. Highs will be around average in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s.
Clouds will part overnight tonight leading to mainly clear skies by morning. Some patchy valley fog will likely develop after midnight as well. Morning lows 46 to 51.
Tuesday starts a fantastic stretch of weather that will carry us through the first half of the weekend. High pressure parked over the Northeast will equate out to sunny days, fair nights, and highs in the mid to upper 70’s.
The next chance for any sort of rain doesn’t come until next Sunday but even at that, the chance is rather small is not a guarantee. Some models have suggested we’ll stay dry on Sunday while some others hint at a few showers across the area. This will require some more fine-tuning as we get new data in throughout the week.
