POLAND – A Kennedy man is facing several charges after the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office alleged he choked a person and pushed them to the ground during an altercation on Second Street in the Town of Poland Tuesday.

Walter L. Ploss, 54, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood flow and second-degree harassment.

Deputies said Ploss was arrested following the incident and taken to Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
