Wanted Jamestown Man Falls Through Ceiling While Attempting To Evade Police

JAMESTOWN – A wanted City of Jamestown man was arrested Thursday evening after officers said he fell through a ceiling while attempting to avoid arrest.

Jamestown Police say Bobby Mount, 37, climbed into the ceiling of a West 6th Street apartment while officers were responding to a reported order of protection violation.

Police said Mount fell through the ceiling into the apartment next door.





After officers made entry into the neighboring apartment, an a brief struggle with Mount, he was taken into custody.

Mount is charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, second-degree criminal contempt and aggravated family offense.

Jamestown Police said he was taken to city jail to await arraignment.





















New York State Probation assisted Jamestown Police in the arrest.
