ORCHARD PARK – A play from the Clymer/Sherman/Panama Wolfpack’s Section VI Class D Championship Game on Saturday against the Ellicottville Eagles at New Era Field hit number four on the SportsCenter Top 10 plays.

On a halfback option, a well known gadget play in football where the runner can either throw the ball or keep it and run, Wolfpack running back John Swabik took a pitch from quarterback Gerrit Hinsdale, avoided an Ellicottville defender, and tossed a 69-yard touchdown pass to Cameron Barmore, one of his two touchdown receptions.

Besides his TD pass, Swabik rushed for 28 yards on seven carries.

Barmore’s two touchdown catches totaled 136 yards, his only receptions of the game.

Hinsdale threw for 99 yards and a touchdown completing seven out of 11 passes.

Clymer/Sherman/Panama won the game 22-0, giving the Wolfpack the Section VI Class D title for the second year in a row.

With that victory, Clymer/Sherman/Panama will have a game in SUNY Brockport on November 15 at 5:00 against Notre Dame High School.
