MAPLE GROVE – Because of heavy snow, Saturday’s Section V 8-Man Championship game between number three seed Maple Grove and the top seeded merged Oakfield-Alabama/Elba team will be played at another time and on another football field.

The game was supposed to be played at 1:30 p.m. at Van Detta Stadium in Batavia prior to the issues with the snow.

Maple Grove and Oakfield-Alabama/Elba will still play on Saturday, instead with a 6 p.m. kickoff at Growney Stadium at St. John Fisher College in Rochester.

Oakfield-Alabama/Elba defeated Maple Grove in their season opening game back on Sep. 20, 60-12.
