JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown woman was arrested following a drug raid on Crossman Street just before 6 a.m. Thursday.

Jamestown Police say Wanda Torres, 36, is charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal using drug paraphernalia and obstructing governmental administration.

The raid, conducted by the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force and Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force, yielded 27 grams of cocaine and 35 grams of marijuana from the lower apartment at 115 Crossman Street.


Police said Torres was arrested, arraigned and committed to the Chautauqua County Jail.

Investigators ask anyone with information on the illegal sales and trafficking of narcotics to call the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force’s anonymous tip line at (716) 483-TIPS (8477).
