Man Found Slumped Over In Car Arrested Following Foot Chase

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man found slumped over the wheel was arrested over the weekend after police allegedly found narcotics in his possession.

Jamestown Police say Moises Ledesma-Velazquez, 31, was found in his vehicle parked on Crossman Street Saturday morning.

Officers said they placed temporary wrist restraints on Ledesma-Velazquez while they investigated.











Ledesma-Velazquez then reportedly fled from officers on foot.

Following a short foot pursuit, Ledesma-Velazquez was taken into custody.

He is charged with resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration.
