JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown woman was arrested following a DWI crash in Brooklyn Square Monday evening.

Jamestown Police say Brenda Phillips, 62, allegedly fled into the nearby Rite Aid Store following the crash.

Officers say when they made contact with Phillips she exhibited signed of intoxication.

After failing several field sobriety tests, police say Phillips was arrested and charged with DWI, DWI per se and unsafe backing.

She was held in Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in the case.
