Parts Of I-90 Closed As State Police Investigation Continues

HANOVER – All westbound and eastbound lanes of I-90 between exits 57 and 58 are currently closed as State Police say they are continuing an investigation into a menacing complaint involving a shotgun.

Police say, at approximately 9:35 a.m., they located and stopped a vehicle in question near mile marker 455.1 westbound. After a physical confrontation with Troopers, police say the suspect was taken into custody. transported for treatment.

Several weapons and a suspicious package were located in the vehicle. The State Police Bomb Disposal Unit were called to the scene to assist with the investigation.



Police say the roads will be closed until the scene is clear.
