ELLICOTT – A multigenerational family business in Western New York showed off their new facility to members of the community on Wednesday.

The Stannard Group, that operates Naco Express Truck and Weaver Materiel Service, are now open at their new 26,400 square foot facility at the Mason Industrial Park in Ellicott.

The fourth generation, family-owned company was founded in Buffalo in 1944.

Drew Weaver, the VP of Sales and Marketing for the group, says being able to work alongside his father and grandfather is an amazing opportunity and something that is not seen every day.

“There is not many days that I am not reminded how lucky and fortunate I am to have great leadership starting all the way back with my great grandfather to have the vision to start a company like this, and then my grandfather and my dad to grow it into the company that we have today,” said Weaver. “I have big shoes to fill as we continue to grow.”

Construction of the project was made possible through a 15-year PILOT incentive from the Chautauqua Industrial Development Agency. In total entire project cost approximately $2.9 Million.

Working with contractor Kessel Construction, the building of a new warehouse and office facility was constructed by local products.

Naco Express is full service trucking company while Weaver Materiel Service provides materials to foundries across the region.
