JAMESTOWN – This week is going to be copy and paste weather as high pressure continues its blocking pattern over the region.
The high, located north of the border in Canada, is acting as a barricade to keep Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania nice and dry with plenty of sunshine to go around for the next six to 10 days.
Mainly clear skies will take us through the night with areas of patchy fog developing after midnight in the valleys. Lows 56 in the valleys, 64 at the Lake Erie shoreline. Light winds.
Tomorrow will be a rinse and repeat day. Mostly sunny with moderate humidity. Highs 77 to 84.
While there will be very small chance of an isolated shower on Wednesday well inland away from Lake Erie, the day will be filled with sunshine and highs in the lower 80’s.
Another suntastic day will be in the cards on Thursday with highs even warmer. Middle 80’s.
As we kick off the 4th of July weekend on Friday, more sunshine, more heat and more humidity. Highs for most will likely be in the mid to upper 80’s. We will stay dry right through Independence Day itself and on Sunday with lots of sun and highs in the 80’s.
