JAMESTOWN – The battle of two fronts will dictate our weather pattern this weekend with a few showers from time to time before a big cool down come our way early next week.
High pressure has slide on out which will allow for the influence of moisture to enter the region from a frontal system located to our south. The better chance for thundershowers will be on Sunday before we turn down the heat for a little while early next week.
Tonight will be another mainly clear and quiet night. Lows 60 in the valleys, 68 at the Lake Erie shoreline.
Saturday will start dry with some showers and thundershowers developing in the afternoon. The humidity will still be up but will remain manageable. Highs 76 to 85.
We do think the better chance for showers and rumbles will be on Sunday as the front moves a little closer to the region. Cooler air will also be dragged into the area bringing the highs down into he mid 70’s.
We’ll keep a few showers in the picture for Monday with highs in the mid 70’s.
The push of cool air with an advancing cold front peaks on Tuesday with a high pressure area moving in from Canada. Highs will drop into the lower 70’s for both Tuesday and Wednesday.
