JAMESTOWN – Some well-needed rain will be coming our way over the next few days before temperatures start to warmup again by the end of the week.

Showers have developers out ahead of an approaching Cold front lurking back to our west. These showers will start to move through tonight and become more widespread in coverage as we head throughout the day on Monday. A nice warming trend will appear by the end of the week.

Mostly cloudy skies will kick off the night tonight with scattered to numerous showers arriving after midnight. Lows 42 in the valleys to around 50 at the Lake Erie shoreline.

Numerous to widespread showers will continue throughout the day on Monday with some areas of fog possible. Highs 47 to 55.

The best chance of rain will be in the morning on Tuesday, tapering to a few showers in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy. Highs in the upper 50’s.

We will start a nice little warming trend as head throughout the middle and later part of the week as milder air begging to surge in from the south. There could be an isolated or scattered shower on Wednesday otherwise partly sunny. Highs in the upper 60’s.

Thursday should be mainly dry with a small chance for spotty shower or drizzle. Highs near 70.

A rinse and repeat for Friday with partial sunshine and highs in the lower 70’s.

Heading into next weekend, the pattern starts to become unsettled once again as an upper-level trough moves through the region. A few scattered showers will be possible on Saturday with highs falling back down into the lower 50’s.
