Chautauqua County Health Department Reports Additional COVID-19 Vaccinations

MAYVILLE – The Chautauqua County Heath Department reported over 1,000 additional COVID-19 vaccinations on Tuesday morning.










In an update to the county’s COVID-19 dashboard, health officials say 12,622 residents have now had the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine with 7,855 getting the second. That makes up nine and six percent of the total population respectively.

Health officials also reported 14 new cases of the virus, with 124 now active.





The number of recoveries continued to outpace new cases, with 247 additional recoveries tallied.



















There are now 10 people hospitalized, down from 13.

The seven-day average percent positivity rate is down slightly to 1.3 percent.

To date, there have been 7,454 total cases countywide with 7,194 recoveries and 136 connected deaths.
