JAMESTOWN – A Key Bank branch in Jamestown will soon be consolidating into a nearby location.

As first reported by Buffalo Business First, the Bank’s Foote Avenue branch will close, consolidating to the nearby Spring Street location.

The location is set to close on Friday, May 21 at 3 p.m.

In total, the banker is closing eight branches across the Western New York region.

No workers will be laid off, with employees at the closing branches reassigned to other positions.

Client accounts will be automatically transferred to the new location as well.

Key Bank says they are continuing to improve their digital banking, encouraging customers to use the often “more convenience” option.

The bank will now have two locations in the immediate Jamestown area, on Spring Street Downtown and Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood.
