JAMESTOWN – Firefighters battled a morning blaze on Jamestown’s northside.

The Jamestown Fire Department was dispatched to the corner of Washington and West 7th Streets for a reported structure fire with entrapment just after 7 a.m. on Tuesday.


When first responders arrived on scene, they spotted heavy smoke and flames coming from the multi-family home.

As of 7:30 it appears everyone made it out alright.











Crews worked to knock down the flames which are now embedded in the walls of the home.

Washington Street between 8th and 6th Streets was closed as crews work the scene.
