Several Drugstores Now Offering Same Day COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments

JAMESTOWN – Several major drugstores in the Jamestown area are now offering same day COVID-19 vaccination appointments.

Starting on Wednesday, Walgreens says same day appointments will be available.

CVS started doing same day appointments last week.


Rite Aid says it will also take walk-ins on a limited basis.

Anyone over the age of 16 is eligible to get the shot. In addition to the walk-in availability, most pharmacies offer vaccination appointments as well.

Residents can also sign up for appointments at both local and state run health department vaccination sites in New York State.
